Chocolate Pinwheel Sugar Cookies (Mom)

3 cups flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. cocoa

Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl. In a large bowl cream butter and sugar. Blend in eggs, vanilla and water. Add dry ingredients and mix. Divide batter into 2 parts and add to one, 2 squares melted chocolate or 2 Tbsp. butter and 6 squares cocoa. Roll out each part. Lay the chocolate layer on the white layer. Roll 3/16 inch thick. Roll up like a jellyroll. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Slice 1/8 inch thick. Bake on baking sheet at 350°F for 10-15 minutes
